Emergency Shelter

Hughes House provides a safe haven for victims of domestic violence and any accompanying children. While in shelter, residents work with staff to develop a plan for their safety and future independence. Residents have access to services designed to empower and help them heal including: Counseling, adult & child Support Groups, Court Advocacy, Child Advocacy, Parenting Support, Risk Assessments, and Safety Plans. Shelter advocates are on duty at all times to provide emotional support and to assist residents with finding housing, employment, and other essentials to independent living.

Transition Shelter

Harmony House Transitional Residence provides longer-term housing to qualifying clients as they prepare to move into permanent housing. Along with counseling, case management, and support groups, guests participate in life skills and education classes that are designed to empower and help rebuild lives.
